Private Pool Villa

We stayed in the house with our family (with 2 teenage kids). We had a great week. The house is spacious, has all necessary amenities, the pool area is great. The house is located in a quiet residential area. A number of nice restaurants and a supermarket are within easy walking distance. One can get to great beaches by car in about 10 minutes. Clear recommendation!

Vi hadde en kjempefin ferie på denne vakre eiendommen. Flott hus, deilig basseng, gode senger, upåklagelig renhold. Fin beliggenhet, gangavstand til butikker og restauranter. Hele prosessen med leie var smidig og effektiv. Innsjekk og utsjekk gikk knirkefritt. Verten er svært profesjonell og vennlig, behjelpelig til en hver tid, svarer raskt.

Sadly, Mariposa Azul Villa did not match the listing or our expectations. We paid extra for early check-in, but initially could not contact anyone on arrival. The villa was not properly prepared. The only two sun loungers were broken. Drawers, cupboards, fridge and freezer were full of the owner’s personal belongings and old/opened food. Bathroom cupboards were also full of personal items, making it feel more like someone’s home than a holiday rental. There were several maintenance issues, including no hot water initially, a broken electric door to the pool, ripped mosquito screens and stained seating. The pool had sand and debris and was extremely slippery until cleaned the following morning. The location is good, the bed comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The biggest issue for me is that, at over €200 per night, I expected a properly prepared, guest-ready holiday villa rather than a property that felt partly occupied by the owner and filled with their personal belongings.

A wonderful villa exactly as described.. Such a beautiful villa and peaceful location. The pool was great and outside area. Lovely view of salt lake and sunset. The lighting in and around the pool adds that little extra, absolutely delightful. All the amenities you need. The host was always quick to respond from booking to end and extremely pleasant and helpful with every query, right the way through even assisting with things to do in Torrevieja I.e. parasailing and jetsking. I myself and my whole family had a wonderful time and would no doubt go back to the villa. I would highly recommend 👍Thank you so much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
